Our work together
With Mastercard Strive USA’s support, Mona is building and deploying a small business financial health coaching tool — pairing AI with human experts to deliver personalized financial guidance. The financial health coach helps small businesses to:
- Find and access best-fit loan, grant, and government funding opportunities;
- Access on-demand, trusted financial coaching that helps them better understand their finances, navigate key decisions, and improve financial health.
Mona will embed the tool within Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), Business Support Organizations, and other small business service provider partners. The ultimate goal is to improve small business financial health by increasing their cash flow, reducing financial volatility, and expanding access to affordable capital
By the numbers

- Provide financial health coaching to 5,000+ small businesses, beginning with pilot initiatives in Chicago’s South Side
- Match 1,000+ small businesses with funding opportunities
